Description

The International Journal of Information Studies seeks the advancement of the knowledge in the expanding field of information studies. Our mission is to attract the highest quality theoretical and applied research in the field of information studies, including information science, management, retrieval, analysis, systems, theory, applications, and policy, as well as in the field of human-computer interaction. The International Journal of Information Studies is an open access, freely available, scholarly journal dedicated to reflect the interdisciplinary and dynamic field of information studies. Our aim is to promote the exchange of information and knowledge among researchers around the globe in general, and among Arabic-English speaking scientists, practitioners, and educators in particular. The International Journal of Information Studies is a bilingual peer-reviewed publication. We welcome articles in both English and Arabic. Abstracts will be provided in both languages. We believe a commitment to top-quality research in both languages will increase and enrich the reach and impact of the journal. Initially, the Journal is published biannually, aiming to increase the number of issues as the availability of exceptional submissions increase. Special issues may be published in specific areas to increase access to timely information in specialized domains. The International Journal of Information Studies welcomes sponsors.
