Description

The Journal of the Polytechnic of Rijeka is a peer reviewed international multidisciplinary, open access journal open for collaboration to scientists and experts in the field of social sciences, natural, biotechnical and technical sciences. The Journal is aimed at publishing papers that are relevant for the scientific and professional public in different fields of economics, information and communication technologies, computing, traffic and transport technology, agronomy and biotechnology and applied mathematics. It publishes research and professional papers, reviews of books and other publications and translations of important papers, i.e. the content of which can arouse interest of scientific and professional public.The Journal has been published regularly since 2013, once a year in Croatian or in English language.
All articles submitted for publication are reviewed by two anonymous and independent reviewers and the names of the authors are also unknown to the reviewers (double-blind review).
In the process of publishing a peer reviewed article standards of ethical behavior are respected by authors, editors, and reviewers. Editors of The Journal are strongly against any type of scientific misconduct, such as: fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, redundant publication and authorship problems. In order to maintain the highest level of publishing ethical standards, the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Polytechnic of Rijeka follows the recommendations of the COPE - Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers (https://publicationethics.org/).
The Journal of the Polytechnic of Rijeka is an open access journal available through the Portal of scientific journals of Croatia – HRČAK - platform for Croatian Open Access journals and the journal web site.
The Journal is indexed by the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) - Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics - ex Thomson Reuters) and ERIH PLUS (European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences).
