Human Ecology is a peer-reviewed Russian journal with a periodicity of 12 issues a year with the main focus on research and practice in the fields of human ecology and public health. The journal publishes original articles, review papers, short communications, editorial materials and news. The primary audience of the journal includes health professionals, environmental specialists, biomedical researchers and post-graduate students.
The Editorial Board and the Editorial Council consists of the prominent Russian and international researchers.
All manuscripts go through a thorough peer-review procedure to ensure the quality of publications in the journal.
Human Ecology journal is recommended by the Higher Attestation Committee of the Russian Federation for publication of materials from doctoral dissertations in health sciences. The journal is included in the Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, indexed in Scopus (Q3 in 2017), CAB Abstracts, Proquest and Global Health databases, Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
