Visnyk of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv: Geology is a periodical, academic, and scholarly edition in Ukraine. The Journal promotes general scientific awareness in Ukraine and encourages its integration into the world scientific community. The Journal follows ethical principals laid down in the Code of scientific publications.Visnyk of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Geology formulates the following to be its coherent short-term strategy:
? enhancing international recognition;
? increasing overall rating, citation index (impact factor);
? admittance to the main international databases
Advances in Geosciences necessitate upgrading facilities for scientific communities to take advantage of the world theoretical contributions and research findings. To increase the Journal rating the Editorial Board are to provide an on-line access to the Journal. Elaborating the Journal will:
? -increase the publications to Ukrainian senior and amateur scientists;
? -invite leading overseas scientists to the Ukrainian media environment with the view to integrating national Geosciences into the world scientific community;
? - attract new persons concerned to share in-house technological innovations, and encourage joint scientific cooperation.
The Editorial Board pursue a policy of open access to peer-reviewed scientific publications, promoting scientific information exchange and citation of works, and, therefore, enhancing scientific efficiency of the authors published in the Journal.
