The Open Access journal Genomics,?Proteomics?&?Bioinformatics
(GPB) is a global journal in the fields of genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics. GPB was found in 2003 and is currently sponsored by Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Genetics Society of China. Since 2013, GPB is produced and hosted by Elsevier.
The goals of GPB are to disseminate new frontiers of the focused research fields, to publish high-quality discoveries in a fast-pace, and to promote open access and prompt online publication for efficient publishing.
Featured research areas in GPB are large-scale data and analysis based on high-throughput sequencing technologies as listed below.
Genomics: including systematic studies and technology developments in genomics, genome evolution, epigenetics, and other DNA- and RNA-based “omics”.
Proteomics: including proteomic technology developments, protein expression profiling, protein complexes, and metabolomics.
Bioinformatics: including genome analyses, data mining, phylogeny, databases, web servers, algorithms and bioinformatic tools.
Article types include Editorial, Editor’s Choice, Full review / Mini review, Life time achievement review, Perspective, Research article, Method, Application note,
Research resource, Genomic resources, Brief report / Meeting report, Commentary, Essay, Opinion, Database review / Database update.
