Research and Practice peer-reviewed journal.
The journal "Medical Visualization" has been published since 1997. Frequency - the journal is published 6 issues per year.
The journal is included into the "List of Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals, in which basic scientific results of dissertations for academic degrees of doctor and candidate of sciences should be published" by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Russian Federation (29/12/2015).
The name of the scientific branches per profile of the journal according to the Nomenclature of specialties:
14.01.00 - clinical medicine;
14.2.00 - preventive medicine;
03.14.00 - medical and biological sciences;
04.14.00 - pharmaceutical sciences.
The publication is aimed at a wide range of doctors, specializing on radiation diagnosis: radiologists, specialists in computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, medical ultrasound diagnostic radiologists and physicians almost of all medical and biomedical specialties, using the methods of complex radiation diagnosis in their daily practice.
In the journal they publish original clinical and experimental researches in the sphere of radiological diagnosis of various diseases, effectiveness of radiological contrast media and magnetic resonance contrast media, ultrasound contrast agents, as well as their side effects (allergic reactions and Contrast-induced nephropathy), in addition to the mentioned ones - clinical observations based on morphological and radiological comparisons, lectures on the specifics of radiological examinations usage in clinical practice, literature reviews on the latest advances in disease diagnosis and characteristics of diagnostic methods, information about congresses, conferences, seminars, regulatory documents in the field of radiological diagnosis and radiological safety. While reviewing manuscripts, firstly there is an assessment of the validity of the newly received scientific data, their originality in comparison with well-known data, methodical application of statistical data as a criterion for the appropriate parameters of evidence based medicine. The journal is primarily aimed at young professionals, graduate students, researchers, but it is also popular among experienced doctors with extensive experience.
The journal "Medical Visualization" is the official printed publication of: the Russian Association of Radiologists and the Society of specialists in radiological diagnosis and Moscow regional branch of the Russian Society of Roentgenologists and Radiologists.
