It is an academic journal of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, founded in 2005. It is published every six months, at the beginning of each period (January and July). It is an arbitrated publication that uses the peer-review system. It is published in electronic version (e-ISSN: 1390-8642) and printed (ISSN: 1390-325X). Each article is identified with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier System. In the following areas: Curriculum and Cultures, Educational Policies and Teacher Training, Educational Evaluation, Education and Technologies, Special and Inclusive Education, and Education in relation to other Social Sciences.
