Adipobiology (ISSN: 1313-3705)

Description

Adipobiology is the official journal of the Bulgarian Society for Cell Biology published once a year by Varna Medical University Press. It usually includes the following sections: Reviews, Research Articles, and a Dance Round (a form of short, position papers) focused on health- and disease-oriented adipobiology, presented in concise form.
This international journal of adipose tissue in health and disease is published in English and collected by Dr. George Chaldakov who is a Bulgarian vascular biologist well known for his contributions to the study of secretory function of vascular smooth muscle cells, and the role of neurotrophins and perivascular adipose tissue in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. He published the first Bulgarian textbook of Cell Biology in 1996 and also founded the Bulgarian Society for Cell Biology in 2005.
The journal has been issued for the first time in 2009 and has the same ESSN (1313-3705) ever since.
