This editorial enterprise was born from the desire to obtain synergies in a lab, an academic department, and, a multidisciplinary university. Sociétés et Représentations, a thematic trans-disciplinairy journal, seeks to shed light on social issues by approaches from related scientific disciplines: perspectives from fields of study which are often ignored or rarely come to be communicated. The journal is concerned to invite dialogue and foreign researchers actors sometimes deprived of speech, engaging in discussion of hypotheses about unpublished or little examined questions.
Diverse in terms of subject area and varied in terms of methodology, Sociétés et Représentations seeks to be avaiable to the questions faced by contemporary society in the privacy of its forms while participating in renewed ways of thinking.
