Scripta Scientifica Medica is the official publication of Medical University ‘Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov’ of Varna, Bulgaria. This is an open-access, peer-reviewed English-language publication, intended for a worldwide audience as it is currently disseminated among medical university libraries from all over the world on exchange basis. The journal offers rapid exchange of novel and significant information and intends to contribute to the advances of medical science and practice. It should promote the more effective incorporation of the Bulgarian scientific community into modern world standards.
