The annual journal Rigid Body Mechanics publishes original research articles in traditional areas of solid mechanics and its applications as well as in related branches of physics and mathematics.
The papers published in Rigid Body Mechanics include the treatment of theoretical and computational aspects of mechanics, multibody systems dynamics, gyroscope theory, analytical and computational kinematics, celestial mechanics, Hamiltonian systems, perturbation theory, stability and control theory. Such fields as vehicle dynamics, aerospace technology, robotics, machine dynamics, biomechanics, computer graphics, optimization, and system identification are also covered by the journal if the treated topic is related to the multibody system dynamics.
