Pharmacotherapy is devoted to the publication of original research articles on all aspects of human pharmacology and review articles on drugs and drug therapy. The editors and editorial board invite original research reports on pharmacokinetic, bioavailability and drug interaction studies, clinical trials and investigations of specific pharmacological properties of drugs and related topics. Original reports are published in one of the following departments: a) Clinical Research Articles. These are full-length original research articles; b) Research Reports. These original research reports are preliminary reports of studies that have a high potential for significant impact; c) Brief Reports. These brief research reports describe studies in a concise format; findings are usually of minor clinical importance; d) Pharmacy Practice Insights and Drug Use Insights. These articles report innovative practice guidelines and outcomes-oriented drug use studies. Most review articles are published in the departments of Reviews of Therapeutics or Special Articles.
