Basic information about the journal
“Centro Azúcar” is a quarterly journal published by the Chemistry and Pharmacy Faculty of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas. It was founded in 1973. It came up out of the idea of publishing scientific articles about the sugar production in our country but it has extended its profile to related subjects. It's electronic ISSN number 2223-4861. Anybody can access the journal and its articles are blind arbitrated by specialists of great experience and prestige.
Journal Mission
The journal has as main mission to publish original contributions of researchers all over the world in areas such as Sugar Cane Industry, Sugar Cane Derivatives, Biofuel Obtaining and Social, environmental, economical and technical problems of its operation and development, Environmental management, Process development for pharmaceutical products, Products Chemical Analysis, and others miscellaneous subjects related to Chemical Engineering.
