Fundamenta mathematicae publishes academic papers devoted to set theory, mathematical logic, foundations of mathematics, topology and its interactions with algebra, and dynamical systems. The journal was founded in 1920 by Zygmunt Janiszewski, Stefan Mazurkiewicz and Wacław Sierpiński continued by Karol Borsuk and Kazimierz Kuratowski and is published by the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
