Description

"Economic Thought” is a leading academic theoretical journal in Bulgaria. It has been issued by the Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Science since 1956. It is the successor of the “Economical Thought” Journal, which was founded in 1929.
The Economic Thought journal publishes original manuscripts on the development of economic theory and its application in economic practice. The journal accepts research from the orthodox and heterodox schools of Economics. The journal seeks to give way to innovative ideas and concepts, promote discussion, and reflect the richness of the economic heritage, interpreted from the point of view of contemporary economic development.
Since early 2002 “Economic Thought” has been a peer-refereed journal, indexed and abstracted by the Journal of Economic Literature/EconLit, issues of the American Economic Association (АЕА), RePEc, CEEOL, EBSCO, ERIH PLUS, etc. The summaries of the works are disseminated through the publications of the Bibliographic Information Service of АЕА by mail and in electronic format.
