Arab World English Journal (AWEJ) is a refereed, peer-reviewed, and open-access e-journal for scholars, researchers, teachers, and officials of the English language in the Arab countries and in the entire world. AWEJ is a nonprofit journal whose goal is to generate new knowledge about English language teaching and learning in Arab world to focus on promoting researches and best practices that will improve the use of English in these countries to cope with the emerging global challenges of the 21st century. AWEJ is a quarterly journal (four issues a year).
