Introduction:
International Journal of Nuclear Energy Science and Engineering (IJNESE) publishes high quality papers in scientific and technological research of nuclear energy, primarily fission reactors, fusion reactors, and similar environments including radiation areas of charged particle accelerators. Both original research and critical review papers covering experimental, theoretical, and computational aspects of either fundamental or applied nature are welcome. The breadth of the field is such that a wide range of processes and properties in the field of science and technology of interest to the readership, spanning atom-scale processes, microstructures, thermodynamics, mechanical properties, physical properties, and corrosion.

IJNESE provides an international medium for the communication of original research, ideas and developments in all areas of the field of nuclear energy science and technology. Its scope embraces nuclear fuel reserves, fuel cycles and cost, materials, processing, system and so on.

Objectives
IJNESE aims to promote the exchange of information in the nuclear science area, to identify needs in nuclear science, to promote international cooperation, to support long-term options for nuclear development and use in the context of increased competition in the electricity market, to help in securing the availability of technologies and resources necessary to respond to new requirements, to assess the conditions and constraints affecting the use of nuclear energy, to contribute to global energy and environmental objectives, and to maintain reasonably up-to-date information on all the economic aspects of use of nuclear energy.
