DescriptionEstablished in June 1991 as KELOLA Gadjah Mada University Business Review, its present name was adopted in May 1999. Gadjah Mada INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF BUSINESS (GamaIJB) is a peer-reviewed journal published three times a year (January-April, May-August, and September-December) by Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The GamaIJB is intended to be the journal for publishing articles reporting the results of research on business, especially in the context of emerging economies.
The GamaIJB invites manuscripts in the various topics include, but not limited to, functional areas of management, accounting, international business, entrepreneurship, business economics, risk management, knowledge management, information systems, ethics, and sustainability. The GamaIJB accepts articles in any business related subjects and any research methodology that meet the standards established for publication in the journal. The primary, but not exclusive, audiences are academicians, graduate students, practitioners, and others interested in business research.
The primary criterion for publication in GamaIJB is the significance of the contribution an article makes to the literature in business area, i.e., the significance of the contribution and on the rigor of analysis and presentation of the paper. The acceptance decision is made based upon an independent review process that provides critically constructive and prompt evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
Gadjah Mada International Journal of Business is indexed in EBSCO (Business Source Complete) and Scopus.
