Description

Ekonomik Yaklaşım journal (can be written as Ekonomik Yaklasim in english if the special Turkish characters can not be found) is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal published regularly by the Ekonomik Yaklasim Association in Ankara (Turkey). The journal is a refereed scientific journal since the first issue.
The first issue of Ekonomik Yaklaşım journal has been published in 1980. The first 7 issues (constituting first 3 volumes) have been published by the Department of Economics of Ankara İktisadi ve Ticari İlimler Akademisi (Ankara Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences), which has been transformed into the Department of Economics of Gazi University, in 1981-1982 period and then the publication of the journal has been ceased until 1993. In 1993 (starting with issue 8 and volume 4), Ekonomik Yaklaşım journal has been restarted to be published by the Department of Economics of Gazi University and since January 2014 the journal has been published regularly by Ekonomik Yaklasim Association.
The Ekonomik Yaklaşım is a bilingual journal. Authors may submit articles in either Turkish or English. All submissions are double blind peer-reviewed; the final decision regarding publication is made by the Editorial Board. Opinions expressed in the Journal are solely those of their authors.
