19 Mayıs Journal of Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original and high-quality research articles in various disciplines of the social sciences. The journal aims to contribute to academic knowledge production, promote interdisciplinary dialogue, and serve as a platform for scholarly communication on both national and international levels.
The journal does not follow an issue-based submission system. Instead, it accepts manuscripts continuously and places accepted articles in the next available issue based on the order of acceptance. This flexible system ensures consistency in the publication schedule despite variations in review durations.
The journal is published quarterly:
Issue 1: March 30
Issue 2: June 30
Issue 3: September 30
Issue 4: December 30
For research that requires ethics committee approval, authors must explicitly state the name of the committee, date, and approval number in both the methodology section and on either the first or last page of the manuscript.
Since 2021, all accepted articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) under the sponsorship of DergiPark.
The journal adheres to high standards of scientific publishing, including transparency, impartiality, and a strong commitment to publication ethics.
