Diplomatic, economic and cultural relations between China and Central and Eastern European countries is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic edition that has been published since 2016 by the Confucius Institute at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria (hereinafter referred to as UVT).
All manuscripts submitted for publication are screened for plagiarism and submitted to a double-blind peer-review process, strictly adhering to the norms of publication ethics. The editorial board consists of foreign and Bulgarian scholars whose international citability has been amply demonstrated. The reviewers are selected according to the thematic focus of the submitted manuscripts by the editor-in-chief. The review period is one to three months.
Thematic scope and aims: Original articles related to diplomatic, economic, legal, educational and cultural relations between China and Central and Eastern European countries are published.
The journal mainly aims to contribute to developing knowledge in the academic fields in the fields of diplomacy, economics, cultural studies, literature, as well as in the theory and practice of education in these fields.
The scholarly journal is open to authors who are not part of the University, including foreign authors, whose manuscripts correspond to the thematic focus and requirements for publication.
Aiming a wider academic community worldwide, the papers can be published in Bulgarian, English and Chinese.
The journal is open access.
Authors are not required to pay any publication fees.
