Description

Revista Avant is an independent publication, conceived by students of the Law course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and which, since the observation of the lack, in some disciplines, of stimulating research from the first stages, aims to be a vehicle for promoting the debate and dissemination of scientific works in various legal areas produced by undergraduates. The Journal has an interdisciplinary profile, with academic research in Law as its axis. However, the theme is open, allowing the reception of works on different themes and with varied focuses, whose focus may include contributions from related areas, which are essential to understanding the legal system in its entirety and in a more connected way with reality, such as: Sociology, Philosophy, Political Science, Economics, History, International Relations, among others. All works, however, must address topics relevant to the study of Law. Regarding the types of work that can be sent, Revista Avant allows the submission, in addition to articles, of: summaries of monographs written by students, reviews of academic books, case studies, jurisprudential comments, communication of research or extension practice , review of artistic works, poems, cartoons, drawings and photographs.
