Description

Journal of Sustainable City is a specialized, double-blind peer reviewed, open-access journal that provides rapid reviewing and publication of articles in all areas of urban studies. It has been published by the Iranian Geography and Urban Planning Association since 2018.
Journal of Sustainable City is a multidisciplinary peer reviewed journal that publishes original full‐length research articles in the broad fields of urban research, including urban development, urban participation, spatial analysis, sustainable urban development, urban management and other related areas. The aim of the journal is to provide a scientific medium for scientists and academicians all over the world to contribute, promote, share, and discuss over various new issues and developments in different areas of urban planning and research.
So, Journal of Sustainable City covers: urban sustainable development; gentrification and housing; homelessness and welfare services; urban management; development and planning problems; urban regeneration; neighborhood conservation; migration; urban politics; urban theory; urban governance; smart cities; urban smart growth; urban spatial analysis; infrastructure; livability and quality of life; greening; and all related subjects to urban geography.
As the Iranian Geography and Urban Planning Association is the symbol of higher education of Iran, Also, the Iranian Geography and Urban Planning Association, was established in 2013 for scientific activities and fundamental and applied research in geographical science. Today, it is known as one of the best associations in this field nationwide.
