Description

The ENERGIA NA AGRICULTURA Journal was created in 1986 with the purpose of conceiving a specialized scientific dissemination vehicle, committed to themes related to the energy issue in the agricultural environment. Since then, the magazine has been the main means of disseminating, in the form of scientific articles, the knowledge generated by the research implemented in the aforementioned postgraduate course, fulfilling its mission of strengthening energy awareness in Brazilian Agriculture.
Since 2021, the Journal began to receive external articles, including new areas of work, seeking to address new themes within the area of energy in agriculture. Since March 2019 we are working with a new team with different Editors, contributing to the publication process became faster.
Coverage area
The coverage area of Revista Energia na Agricultura has a wide spectrum, involving topics such as: energy balance and optimization of agro-industrial systems; fermentation and production of biosynthetic energy; conventional and alternative sources of energy and their rational use in agriculture; automation and optimization of agricultural machinery and equipment; energy optimization in processes involving cellulosic materials; planning and sustainable rural development; soil planning, management, conservation and recovery; biomass production for energy purposes and rural buildings and ambience.
Mission
Revista Energia na Agricultura's mission is to disseminate scientific and / or technical-scientific articles generated by original national and international research, aiming at the scientific development of the most diverse areas.
