Description

Ayurveda is an Ancient system of traditional medicine widely popular around the globe. Ayurveda is basically works on fundamental principles of Prakriti, Purusha, Pancha Mahabhuta, Tridosha sidhanta etc. It is more appropriate to be called as “science of life style” which describes the method like Dinacharya (daily regimens) Ritu charya (seasonal regimens) to tune an individual physically and mentally to the diurnal variation and seasonal variations in the surrounding environment.
Classical text from Acharya charaka , Sushruta, Vagbhata and others described the Patho-physiology of various diseases with their causative factors which are in the sutra form (verses) are the guide lines for the Ayurvedic practitioners even today .Due to the advancement in the science, technology in this era of globalization ,it needs a revolutionary and scientifically sound approach towards every concept. Hence the ancient data’s available in the Ayurvedic classics needs to be reviewed and revalidated according to the present scenario.
