Current Trends in Biotechnology & Chemical Research (CTBCR) is a bi-annual peer-reviewed open access journal, which was first started in 2011. CTBCR publishes original research articles, mini & comprehensive reviews, research news and case reports covering the following areas: 1. Medicine, biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, 2. Agriculture, plant and animal biotechnology, 3. Environment and biodiversity, 4. Structure, functions and applications of Chemistry. The main focus of CTBCR has been on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, chemistry, food and agriculture technologies. The journal covers not only basic aspects but also applications and commercialization. Special attention has been given to papers and topics of the interdisciplinary intersections between the major disciplines i.e. medicine and nutrition or chemistry and environment, microorganisms and bio-molecules etc.
