JNBR is published online only, in one annual volume with main aim to provide quick publication of a brief account of relevant research on new records in the field of biology. Manuscripts should be written concisely and clearly in scientific/technical English.
It should be made clear what constitutes a new record. In case of disease reports, proof of pathogenicity to evidence the association of symptoms with an infectious agent will be required.
Deposition of sequences with publicly accessible databases is preferred. Accession numbers for primary nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence data should be included in the original manuscript or be inserted at the time the manuscript is last revised. The accession number should be included at the end of the paper.
