Description

The quarterly journal Asian Studies (untill 2013 Asian
and African Studies, http://revije.ff.uni-lj.si/aas) is being
published in the Department of Asian and African Studies at the
Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) since 1997. It
analyses and transmits essential premises of social actualities in
non-European, especially Chinese and Japanese social systems, rooted
in specific political, economic and cultural contexts. The journal
contains original and translated peer-reviewed academic articles from
the area of intercultural studies, particularly from the fields of
intercultural methodology, literature, anthropology, history, history
of art and philosophy.
The journal is of special interest for scholars of all Asian and
African studies, sociologists, ethnologists, anthropologists,
historians and philosophers, as well as scholars working on
literature. It is also of special importance for students of Asian and
African studies, since it can serve as a complementary source for
their studies.
