Plant sciences, popularly called as botany, phytology or plant biology, cover a wide range of scientific disciplines concerned with the study of plants, algae and fungi, including structure, growth, reproduction, metabolism, development, diseases, chemical properties, and evolutionary relationships among taxonomic groups. Botany began with early human efforts to identify edible, medicinal and poisonous plants, making it one of the oldest sciences. Plant Sciences Feed is Open Access Free online journal in the fields of plant sciences. The publisher welcomes original full-length research articles, review articles, short communications, preliminary and negative results on topics of wide interest, aiming at speedy and reliable delivery of information to the investigators in various arenas of plant sciences like plant physiology, pathology, mycology, biodiversity studies, ecology, cytogenetics and plant breeding, etc. We encourage submission of brief and focused original articles containing high- quality and reproducible results and believe in that the manuscripts should present novel findings addressing significant contribution in a particular field of plant science which will add some information to the current knowledge of the subject
