Description
The Iberoamerican Journal of Industrial Engineering (IJIE) ? named in Portuguese as Revista Iberoamericana de Engenharia Industrial and named in Spanish Revista Iberoamericana de Ingeniería Industrial ? was created in 2009 and is an international journal with a semestral periodicity. Articles that are unreleased or previously published on the Annals of International Congresses are preferred in expanded versions, referring to Industrial Engineering and co-related fields. IJIE’s mission is to contribute for spreading knowledge on Industrial Engineering and related fields, through the publication of scientific articles. Previously unreleased articles and those published on the Annals of International Congresses in expanded version will have privilege. It is understood, on the last case, the importance of publicizing the articles published on those congresses, for the fact that not everybody can have access to them. Articles involving solely bibliographical revision won’t be accepted, except for cases that use conceptual-theoretical references representing the state-of-the-art of the field’s knowledge. In this case, new models and interpretations must be proposed, these being relevant for Industrial Engineering and related fields.IJIE’s Character
It will be a scientific journal offered for free access, non-for-profit, presenting no costs for readers and for publishing articles.
