The Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Post-Genomic Era is an international journal covering the general fields of biochemistry and molecular biology. The vast number of uncharacterized genes and proteins found in different organisms has led to an unprecedented explosion of molecular biological information. This complex information will have tremendous implications on disease diagnosis, management, and treatment. This journal welcomes papers and original research reports that provide insights into the understanding of function and structure of genes and proteins, and of biochemical, cellular, and molecular signaling networks. We also encourage descriptions of novel tools, including bioinformatics and other technological developments leading to potential industrial and therapeutic applications.
