Description

Turkish Journal of Islamic Economics is an internationally peer reviewed journal published twice a year in February and August. The journal is a forum of Islamic Economics School and aims to promote the development and extention of Islamic Economics. Economic behaviors are not free from ontological conscience and cannot therefore be understood without ontological foundations. Because of their superiority, economic behaviors rooted in collaboration with the Divine Revelation and human Mind must be promoted and developed.
Within this framework of the School, the journal is open to different research methodologies, as long as they are relevant to Islamic Economics and employed rigorously. Theoretical and empirical works, surveys, literature reviews, methodological and historical studies, simulation-based analysis, figh deliberations in Islamic Law, and interdisciplinary works are all welcomed. Articles from conventional economics sense, preferably pertaining to Muslim countries, Book and article reviews may also be welcomed. The journal may also publish sepecial issues; suggestions for subjects and guest editors should be mailed to the journal Editor.
