Description

The Journal of Comparative Research in Anthropology and Sociology is an online, open access, peer-reviewed publication edited by the Department of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest.

The Journal publishes original research with a comparative focus. We encourage the submission of research articles that answer theoretically informed questions with sound argumentation based on empirical data, using qualitative or quantitative analyses. The Journal also publishes research notes, review articles, and book reviews relevant for comparative research.

Each Journal issue is centered on a specific topic, announced by a Call for Papers. Articles on other topics which are relevant to the mission of JCRAS are also accepted.

Young researchers and doctoral students in Sociology and Anthropology are especially welcome.
