The birth of the Revista Movimiento Humano arises from the commitment
of many professionals interested in exercise and sport, the desire to
expand scientific knowledge, and the research and
practice in this area. This project aims to respond to the interests
of different groups from different countries who share the culture of
physical education and teaching and research experience
that gives us the discipline, such as Mexico, Portugal and France. In
Spain, among associations clearly support this project and are
im-plicate decisively are specific teaching Department of
University of Lleida, and the Department of Physical Education at the
University of Girona. Therefore, this project aims to bring together
and engage all professionals, and not only the scope of
physical education but also in any other related discipline, who are
interested in research in exercise and sport.
In that sense, this idea holds out the prospect, first, to encourage
serious and rigorous work that is being done roso and, on the other
hand, if a display of what is being done in each and every
one of our countries.
Scientific development has progressed considerably in recent years in
Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries. A potential of 400 million
people guarantees a bright future. For this reason,
the journal publishes articles in Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and in English.
In our pages will accommodate empirical studies and applied to
articles concerning pra-xis sport and physical exercise.
