PAAKAT: Technology and Society Journal related to technology and society issues and with special interest in technological aspects of virtual environments (media technologies, applications, innovation and technology communication), anthropological, historical and social aspects related to technology, cyberculture and electronic governance.
PAAKAT receives original articles (research results, narratives of argumentative experiences originals), unpublished researchs and current in Spanish, English and Portuguese, which are peer-reviewed double-blind. This journal is directed to researchers, academics, students and the general public interested in the topics mentioned above.
Periodicity. PAAKAT: Technology and Society Journal is semiannual; it publishes two numbers per year in the months of March and September. The call for papers is open throughout the year.
Formats. Manuscripts are available in PDF, HTML, XML-JATS formats.
Language. The articles are received and published in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Fees. The Journal does not have article processing charges (APCs), nor does it charge for the submission or evaluation of articles.
