"Service & Tourism: Current Challenges" is a thematic peer-reviewed publication that combines the advantages of classical scientific journal with a variety of creative and entertaining popular publications.
The journal is intended for a wide audience: teachers of higher and secondary educational institutions, graduate students, undergraduates, students, managers and specialists of enterprises and organizations in the sphere of service and tourism, students of vocational training, it can also be of interest to people who love to travel and learn something new. Thematic plan of the journal is constantly evolving in line with the core interests of the target audience and it lives up to its motto: We work together with you and for you!
The journal places materials on strategic management and development of tourism and service, research, advanced foreign and domestic experience, regional aspects of service and tourism, thematic reviews, opinions, discussions, reviews, methodological trends, ratings, tips, stories about life and works of famous people, whose fate has been closely linked with tourism and travel, and more.
The journal is not a commercial edition, but it is based on the principles of self-sufficiency due to the maximum satisfaction of its target audience. The main criteria for selection of publications is relevancy, practical significance, originality and correspondence to the profile of journal. The journal is open for both Russian and foreign authors, however, all submitted materials to the editor must conform to the principles of scientific ethics and comply with Russian legislation on the media.
Authors transfer the copyright for published materials to the founder of the journal - the Russian State University of Tourism and Service. Members of the editorial board are leading Russian and foreign scholars and practitioners of tourism and service. Editorial board holds a closed examination and review of papers submitted to the editor. The journal is published on a regular basis, four times a year.
