Anuario electrónico de estudios en Comunicación Social "Disertaciones"
is an annual digital publication of the University of Los Andes
(Venezuela) which is distributed in the form of two volumes
every year. The aim of the publication is to showcase unpublished
research papers written by Venezuelan academics working in Venezuelan
academic institutions with regard to Social
Communication, specifically in the areas of: (i) Society and
Information Technologies and Communication, (ii) Communication and
Policy, (iii) Journalism, and (iv) Communication and Culture.
The publication is produced jointly by the Department of Social
Communication (Communication Research Group, Culture and Society) of
the ULA Táchira and Educational Research Laboratory
Simón Rodríguez (LIESR) of ULA Trujillo. It is intended primarily for
researchers, students and professors of communication, and seeks to
influence and foment the dissemination of
scientific studies in the area.
