About Ingineria Automobilului
The Society of Automotive Engineers of Romania, in partnership with the Romanian Automobile Register is editing Ingineria Automobilului (Automotive Engineering), a quarterly scientific magazine, distributed along with the Auto Test, containing articles published by Romanian and foreign authors of the academic, industrial and research-development domain.
Ingineria Automobilului is focused on the automotive engineering field (construction-technology-testing, technical inspection, maintenance and service, transports) highlighting road safety and environment protection.
We publish papers in English, written by personalities from both the academic field (researchers, professors) and from the industry.
Write Articles
For the articles to be published in the journal, both the printed edition and the electronic edition authors must follow the established rules:
1. The total length of the articles, including the graphics should not exceed 4 pages: Standard A4 (2000 letters page).
2.An article should not contain more than 10 illustrations, photos or graphics in JPG format, large enough to be clear in the issue and the mathematics development of the article should not be given in full. Articles should not be in PDF format but in Word format.
3.Articles should be written both in Romanian, with an abstract of 500 signs in English, the text beginning with the title of the article in both languages ??and in English, with the title and summary only in English.
4.The paper version, published with Auto Test magazine by the Romanian Auto Register, is entirely in Romanian, while the electronic version that will be published on the website www.ingineria-automobilului.ro will appears entirely in English.
5. Authors must be indicated at the beginning of the article, with their scientific titles and an e-mail address from at least one of the authors that can provide additional information for the article. Also, the authors will send their digital photos with high resolution.
6. Keywords are recommended for the article`s domain.
7. The deadline for the submission of articles in electronic format, to the General Secretary of SIAR, is November 10th, February 10 th, May 10 th, August 10 th for the issues that will appear in December, March, June or September. The English texts in digital format can be delivered 15 days later. The editorial staff must be informed of the intention to publish an article and its total length, with at least one month before the article`s submission.
8. For the publication of the articles, the texts will be presented to a member of the Editorial Board, indicated in the magazine, or the General Secretary of the SIAR as the article will be sent to a specialist reviewer in charge of verifying the scientific level and accuracy of the texts, returning the article with some comments that will be further discussed with the author. Also, authors must also take into account the appliance of Copy Wright laws including the side notes from which the information used was taken from .
9. For the permanent columns of our issues, it is necessary that the article`s length sent for publication must not exceed 2,000 signs, (for a standard A4 page, including graphics) and the title should be written both in Romanian and in English. The authors for these articles are not required photos.?If the column section displays several articles, each article must be shortened by as many times as the number of articles in that specific section.
