Journal Acta Informatica Pragensia (ISSN: 1805-4951)

Description

The mission of the reviewed scientific journal Acta Informatica Pragensia (ISSN 1805-4951) founded at the University of Economics in Prague will become an important platform for publishing papers in the field of computer science (informatics), in non-reduced conception and including inter- and transdisciplinary character. The aim is to contribute to the development of the field of study, scientific activities and doctoral students.
The journal is published twice per year (May and December). This periodicity and focus allow to compile issues of the journal that contain high-quality articles, which is guaranteed by the editorial board composed of experts from a wide range of specialties and disciplines in computer science (informatics) and on the borderline between computer science (informatics) and other scientific areas. Besides the standard issues with the periodicity above, there are published special issues from conferences and seminars. We also highlight interesting events, seminars and conferences in the relevant section.
Scientific articles in the following areas may be published in Acta Informatica Pragensia:
Information management
Knowledge engineering
Systems science
Trans- and interdisciplinarity in computer science (informatics)
Original articles form the main content of each issue, as well as published reviews of the important or interesting works in the field of study, reports from conferences, information about research projects or anniversaries. For more details see instructions for authors.

Other activities associated with development and promotion of computer science (informatics)
One of the main objectives of this informatically-oriented platform is to foster students at all three levels of study (motivation for creative work, involvement in the research / science already during the of study). So we also created a non-reviewed AIP Scholaris journal, which is intended for the publishing excellent student works by the students of bachelor and master studies.
