Revista História da Educação is a quarterly journal and the first ever
to treat in the history of education in Brazil. The first issue was
presented on April 28, 1997, at the first meeting of the
Association of South-Rio Grande Research in History Education - Asphe,
held in São Leopoldo / RS.
The RHE's mission is to provide a vehicle for the dissemination of
educational studies from a historiographical lens. The journal aims
primarily to publish the results of research conducted by
faculty and graduate students and graduate. The journal's intended
audience consists of teachers, students, and researchers interested in
the history of education in Brazil.
