Since 2014, the Latin-American Journal of Computing (LAJC) is a biannual diamond open-access peer-reviewed publication sponsored by the Faculty of Systems Engineering of the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador, one of the top research universities in Computer Science in Latin America. This journal invites academics and professionals worldwide to submit original research articles (full papers), preliminary research results (short papers), state-of-the-art reviews, technical reports and systematic literature reviews within the various academic and professional fields of Informatics, Computer Science and Information and Communication Technologies. Some of the research areas which this journal focuses on are: Security and Privacy; Information Systems; Intelligent Systems and Other Technology Trends; Software Engineering and Applications; Science, Technology and Society (STS); and Computer Science and Information Technologies for inclusive education and disability.
