Lide mesta is a scholarly journal focused on anthropological studies with emphasis on urban studies, social sciences and the humanities. It is notably the only anthropological journal published in the Czech Republic. The Faculty of Humanities of Charles University publishes the journal three times a year, twice in Czech (in May and December) and once in English (in September).
